These 18 public pools are managed by different entities, primarily the municipalities, which oversee 15 of them.
The Commission Communautaire Française (COCOF) is responsible for the Ceria swimming pool, while the Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB) manages the university pool at VUB.
The Belgian state oversees the pool at the Royal Military Academy, although it is reserved for students and clubs.
Of these 18 pools, 17 are fully accessible to all residents of Brussels, offering a wide range of aquatic services and facilities across the capital.
