Exceptional closure – 28 & 29 October 2026
Calypso swimming pool will be exceptionally closed on Wednesday 28 and Thursday 29 October 2026 due to works in the changing room area. The works are intended to improve the grip of the new flooring and reduce the risk of slipping.
About the Calypso 2000 swimming pool
The Calypso 2000 swimming pool (Watermael-Boitsfort pool) is located in the Trois Tilleuls Sports Park, just steps away from Place Keym. This pool offers a comprehensive setting for aquatic activities catering to a wide audience, including individuals, school groups, and sports clubs.
The Calypso 2000 swimming pool features a 33-meter main pool with 6 lanes, a paddling pool for children, and an outdoor solarium accessible during the summer. The pool also offers various classes such as swimming, aquagym, and aquabike.
Additionally, various resident clubs organize individual and team sports activities such as competitive swimming, diving, and water polo.
Built in 1970, the pool has undergone several phases of infrastructure modernization, incorporating a cogeneration system and eco-efficient equipment to reduce its environmental impact and enhance visitor comfort.

- Access for people with reduced mobility: step-free main entrance and changing rooms; for getting into the water, changing-room staff and lifeguards are on hand.
- The pool closes four days a year: 1 November, 11 November, 25 December and 1 January.
- Public holidays: weekend hours (8:00 – 17:50, last entry at 17:30).
- The mini pool is a separate pool used for supervised activities (for example baby swimming on Sundays from 9:00 to 12:00). No free-swim access is announced for it.
- Outdoor summer solarium: open from 7 July 2026 for the summer, paid access on top of pool entry (see prices); under-14s must be accompanied. Whether the solarium is currently open is not confirmed.

Activities offered by the Watermael-Boitsfort swimming pool
The Watermael-Boitsfort swimming pool offers aquatic activities for adults and children.
The Swimming School
The children’s swimming school has nine different level groups and organises approximately 70 lessons per week. Lessons are available from an early age, with objectives tailored to each group.
Course Organisation:
The lessons follow an annual programme divided into three cycles.
At the end of each cycle, an evaluation is conducted to assess the children’s progress. A certificate is awarded to each participant, and children can advance to a higher level group based on their development.
Group Objectives:
Each level has specific goals to ensure a gradual learning process for swimming.
CYCLES 2026-2027:
- Cycle 1: 31/08/2026 – 19/12/2026 (14 lessons)
- Cycle 2: 04/01/2027 – 24/04/2027 (14 lessons)
- Cycle 3: 10/05/2027 – 03/07/2027 (8 lessons)
Some cycles may be extended due to public holidays or cancellations.
PRICE PER LESSON:
- Aquatic psychomotricity: €10.60

Private Swimming Lessons
In addition to the swimming school, independent swimming instructors offer private swimming lessons at the Calypso pool. These lessons are not directly managed by the pool administration.

Rules and Regulations:
- Only lifeguards and swimming school instructors approved by the management are authorized to give private lessons.
- The pool management is not responsible for the organization of these lessons.
- Each private lesson is limited to a maximum of 2 students.
- The minimum age required to participate in private lessons is 6 years old.
The Trois Tilleuls Sports Park
The Trois Tilleuls Sports Park also features a mini-pool designed for introducing babies to water. This mini-pool is not located directly within the Calypso swimming pool but is situated in another area of the complex (stadium section).
The Baby Swimmer sessions are specially designed for children aged 4 months to 3 years, providing their first experience with water in a fun and safe environment. Without requiring reservations, these open sessions allow families to explore water together without the constraints of structured lessons.
Session Details:
- Schedule: Open every Sunday from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM (exit from the water at 12:00 PM).
- Mini-pool features: Water temperature around 32°C, equipped with water toys, slides, floating mats, and other colorful elements to engage young children.
- Supervision: Instructors are available to provide guidance and assistance while allowing families to explore freely.
Rates:
- €18.50 per session
- €80.00 for 5 sessions
- €150.00 for 10 sessions
The price includes admission for the child and up to two parents. Payment is made on site in cash. To pay by Bancontact, first pay at the Calypso swimming pool reception and then present the ticket at the mini-pool.
These sessions are open to everyone, but access may be limited if the pool reaches its maximum capacity to ensure a pleasant experience for all participants.
Aquagym
Aquagym is an aquatic gymnastics activity suitable for everyone, regardless of age or swimming ability. The water’s resistance reduces impact and minimizes the risk of muscle injuries while providing a feeling of lightness.
This discipline helps work various muscle groups such as the abs, thighs, glutes, arms, and shoulders. Sessions can be accompanied by music to energize the exercises.
Rates:
- €10.00 per session (60 minutes)
- €90.00 for 10 sessions

Aquabike
