About the Saint-Josse baths swimming pool

The municipal swimming pool of Saint-Josse-ten-Noode, also known as the Saint-François pool, is an Art Deco gem dating back to 1933 and classified by Monuments & Sites.

Located just a few minutes’ walk from Place Rogier and Botanique, this 25-meter pool, featuring six lanes and period changing cabins, provides a historic and authentic setting in the heart of Brussels’ North district. After several years of renovation, the pool reopened in 2019 with modernised facilities meeting current safety and accessibility standards.

Swimmers can enjoy water maintained at 28°C in an iconic environment that combines heritage and modernity. Open seven days a week, this pool is ideal for swimming enthusiasts and architecture lovers. In case of high attendance (school groups, extracurricular activities, etc.), at least two swimming lanes are always kept available for the public.

Built in 1935, the Saint-François pool is a municipal facility managed by the municipality of Saint-Josse.
