The Neder-Over-Heembeek swimming pool requires swimmers to purchase their tickets no later than 1 hour and 15 minutes before closing and to leave the water 45 minutes before closing.

For example, when the pool closes at 8:30 PM, the last ticket must be purchased by 7:15 PM, and swimmers must leave the water by 7:45 PM.
At certain times during the school year, all swimming lanes may be reserved for schools.

Entry cards, subscriptions and payment

• 10- and 50-entry cards are valid for one year.
• The individual three-month subscription includes unlimited swimming. A photo is required.
• Cards and subscriptions are personal and non-transferable. They cannot be refunded or replaced. Extensions are only granted when the facilities close due to technical problems, building work or a pandemic, and cover the closure days falling within the card or subscription’s validity period.
• Accepted payment methods: cash, bank card, Visa, Mastercard and Zinne (Brussels’ local currency).

The Neder-Over-Heembeek swimming pool offers public swimming and water activities for adults and children.

Inflatable obstacle course: this inflatable course occupies five lanes of the main pool. The aim is to reach the end while avoiding the obstacles. It is currently unavailable; its return has been announced during the holidays, with no specific dates provided.

Participants must be aged 6 or over and at least 1.20 m tall. Jewellery is prohibited. Children up to and including age 10 must be accompanied and supervised by an adult in the water.

Coloured wristbands were sold to identify each time slot. An online booking system is planned, but has not yet been announced as available. The pool will provide the details and booking link.

The Neder-Over-Heembeek swimming pool is equipped with an ultraviolet radiation water treatment and disinfection system. This innovative technology significantly reduces the level of chloramine in the water, thus enhancing bathing quality for users.

The Laeken swimming pool also benefits from this system, guaranteeing cleaner, healthier water for all.

Wheelchair accessibility: the changing rooms, accessible toilets and both pools are on level −1, accessible via a lift that can accommodate a wheelchair. The showers are also accessible via this lift.

Entering the water: a pool hoist is available for both the main pool and the learning pool, on request and with no advance booking required. People with reduced mobility are generally accompanied by someone who can help them; the lifeguards on duty can also provide assistance.
