About the Espadon swimming pool
The Espadon swimming pool, also known as the Etterbeek swimming pool , offers a comprehensive aquatic space combining relaxation and sports activities.
With its 25-meter pool, learning pool, and paddling pool, it welcomes visitors of all ages for enjoyable aquatic moments.
The facilities also include a slide and a wellness area with a sauna, hammam, and jacuzzis, accessible for an additional fee.
A cozy cafeteria with a pool view is available for refreshments after your swim. Since its renovation, the center has been adapted for people with reduced mobility, making the Espadon an accessible space for everyone.

Last ticket sale and water exit
The Espadon d’Etterbeek swimming pool asks swimmers to buy their ticket 30 minutes before closing time and to leave the pool 15 minutes before closing time.
At certain times during the school year, all swimming lanes may be reserved for schools.

Water quality
The bacteriological quality of Espadon’s water is one of the best in Brussels.
In fact, the Etterbeek swimming pool uses an alternative treatment (in addition to activated carbon sand filters) based on ultraviolet rays to reduce the amount of chlorine in the water. In its latest annual water quality rankings, Brulabo, the intercommunal laboratory responsible for examining the water quality of swimming pools in Brussels, placed L’Espadon in the top 3 of the cleanest pools in Brussels.
