Océade aquatic park
Océade was renowned for its spectacular slides, among the largest and most diverse in Belgium:
- The Anaconda: A 140-meter family slide, allowing descents on inflatable rings for 1 to 3 people.
- The Chameleon: An interactive slide where visitors could choose the color of the walls during their descent.
- The Hurricane: Known as Belgium’s fastest slide, designed for speed enthusiasts.
- The Salto Angel: A four-lane slide perfect for friendly competitions.
- The Cannonball: A unique slide that launched swimmers above the water for a thrilling dive.
For children, Océade also featured the Tortuga Slide, comprising four slides tailored to the youngest visitors, as well as an extensive interactive play area, the Aqua Fun House, a 160 m² water playground reaching up to 5 meters in height.
Wave Pool and Aquatic Games
In addition to its slides, the park featured a large wave pool, known as “the hottest beach in the country,” along with rapids, geysers, and water jets. Activities such as the monkey bridge and waterfall climbing added a playful dimension to the park, making it a space where visitors of all ages could let loose and have fun.
Saunaland Area
For those seeking relaxation, Océade offered a wellness space called Saunaland, reserved for adults. This area included three saunas (one outdoors), a hammam, a jacuzzi, an ice bath, and loungers set in a garden. Saunaland provided the perfect setting for unwinding after a day of aquatic adventures.
Special Activities
Océade also hosted themed events, such as the famous Halloween Blood Bath, during which water in certain areas turned red to create a uniquely spooky atmosphere. This event was complemented by makeup sessions, making it a standout attraction for thrill-seekers.
