About the Louis Namèche swimming pool in Molenbeek
The swimming pool of Louis Namèche, also known as the Molenbeek pool, is a modern and functional facility recently renovated to meet the needs of swimmers and wellness enthusiasts. The pool features an Olympic-sized 50-meter pool with 8 lanes, a 16-meter learning pool, showers, bubble baths, and two hammam cabins, currently out of service.
The establishment is also characterised by its large bay windows and a pleasant ambiance, providing a delightful swimming experience. However, it is worth noting that the pool does not offer a paddling area for young children.

Summer opening hours and heatwave periods
From 1 July to 31 August, as well as during periods of extreme heat, the Louis Namèche swimming pool operates according to specific time slots:
- 08:00 – 11:00
- 11:30 – 13:00
- 13:30 – 15:00
- 15:30 – 17:00
- 17:30 – 19:00
The maximum stay is 1 hour 30 minutes (90 minutes), throughout the year without exception, including changing cubicle and locker use. Summer time slots do not change this limit. No booking is required.
Please note: access is organised by time slot. All swimmers must leave the pool at the end of the current time slot, even if they arrived later. For example, someone arriving at 10:00 must leave the facilities at 11:00 and will therefore not be able to stay for the full 90 minutes.
There are 30-minute breaks between time slots to allow users to leave and the facilities to be cleaned. Swimmers must therefore leave the pool at the end of each time slot.
These opening hours also apply to clubs and organised activities at the swimming pool, which must adapt to the different time slots during the summer holidays.
Outside the period from 1 July to 31 August and periods of extreme heat, the swimming pool’s usual opening hours apply.
Last ticket sale and water exit
From Monday to Saturday, the last ticket is sold at 18:30, 30 minutes before closing. Swimmers must leave the water at 19:00, when the pool closes to the public.
Both pools are accessible throughout public swimming hours, subject to any exceptional closures or measures announced by the pool.

Entry cards and subscriptions: these are strictly personal and individual and must be presented at reception at every visit. They cannot be shared, even with family members.
10-entry card: includes one additional free entry and is valid for one year from the purchase date. Unused entries expire and cannot be carried over.
Other rates: group admission costs €2.80 per person for residents and non-residents. Private changing cubicle: €1.20.

Activities offered by the Molenbeek swimming pool
The Louis Namèche pool offers aquatic activities for adults and children, as well as public swimming. Organised activities and swimming lessons are provided by the club. Contact the club for the 2026–2027 programme and timetable.

Personal equipment: swimming noodles, small kickboards and swimming floats are allowed if used appropriately without disturbing other swimmers. Balls and games that disturb swimmers are prohibited.
Activity supervision: schools and clubs are responsible for supervising their participants. Instructors working with young children must be in the water or immediately beside the pool. Suitable sportswear is required around the pool and swimwear in the water. Mobile phone use around the pools while supervising activities is prohibited, except in an emergency.

Accessible toilets are available. In the main pool, a pool lift operated by the lifeguard provides access to the water. No advance booking is required.
