Three City of Brussels swimming pools increase their prices in 2026
Since January 1, 2026, entry prices have increased in the three swimming pools managed by the City of Brussels. This change concerns the pools located in the city centre, Laeken, and Neder-Over-Heembeek.
Several pricing options are affected by the increase. The annual subscription reserved for residents of the City of Brussels rises from €340 to €380. Single-entry tickets and multi-entry passes have also been adjusted. For an adult living in Brussels, the price of a single entry increases from €3.20 to €3.80. Visitors from other municipalities will now have to pay €5.50, compared with €4.50 previously.
The office of the Sports Alderman, Florence Frelinx, explains that this price adjustment reflects a more demanding financial context, particularly due to rising costs for energy, facility maintenance, and staffing. The City nevertheless stresses that the prices remain comparable to those charged by other swimming pools in the Brussels Region.

In addition, the Center swimming poll, located in the Marolles district, is still the subject of a renovation project that has been under consideration for several years. The budget currently estimated for these works amounts to around €16 million.
