The RBP, affiliated with the Royal Belgian Swimming Federation (FRBN), is the leading diving club in Brussels. The club welcomes enthusiasts of all levels, from beginners to advanced divers, starting at age 12 (or age 10 for children with a strong gymnastics background).
The Poseidon pool is equipped with certified 1-meter and 3-meter springboards. Although higher platforms (5, 7.5, and 10 meters) are not available, the RBP focuses on mastering technical and acrobatic fundamentals, ensuring steady and methodical progression.
Sessions are supervised by qualified coaches, including Ivan Dupont, known for his expertise and teaching skills. Each training session is designed to improve divers’ technique, strength, and self-confidence. Gymnastics fundamentals are particularly emphasized, as they are essential for executing precise figures.
Trainings take place several times a week:
- Tuesday: 8:15 PM to 9:45 PM
- Thursday: 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM
- Sunday: 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM
