Brussels swimming pools: where did prices increase the most in 2026?
The prices of Brussels public swimming pools were checked and updated in September 2026 using the price lists published by municipalities, sports centres and official operators. This review reveals several significant increases affecting individual admissions, multi-entry passes and subscriptions.
However, not every difference identified can automatically be presented as a “2026 price increase”. When an official source does not specify an effective date, we distinguish between a new price observed in 2026 and an increase that is formally dated.
Price increases officially dated in 2026
Since 1 January 2026, the three swimming pools managed by the City of Brussels—the Centre swimming pool, Laeken swimming pool and Neder-Over-Heembeek swimming pool—have applied a new price list. Adult admission for City of Brussels residents increased from €3.20 to €3.80, a rise of 18.75%. For other swimmers, it increased from €4.50 to €5.50, or 22.22%. The local annual subscription rose from €340 to €380, an increase of 11.76%.

At Longchamp swimming pool in Uccle, the official page announces “new prices January 2026”. Adult admission for Uccle residents increased from €3.80 to €4.20 (+10.53%), while the non-resident price rose from €5.50 to €6 (+9.09%). Other admission prices and ten-entry passes generally increased by between 7% and 11%. The official Longchamp price list therefore makes it possible to attribute these increases clearly to 2026.
Saint-Josse: the largest differences in our comparison
The updated official prices for Saint-Josse Baths, whose municipal page was modified on 14 August 2026, show the largest differences compared with the previous amounts in our comparison.
Adult admission for Saint-Josse residents increased from €2 to €3, while the non-resident price rose from €3 to €4.50: in both cases, the difference is 50%. The annual adult subscription increased from €100 to €180 for residents (+80%) and from €150 to €280 for non-residents (+86.67%). Some reduced-rate options show even larger differences.
However, an important qualification is required: the official page confirms the prices currently published but does not specify their exact effective date. These changes are therefore increases identified during the 2026 update, without sufficient evidence to state that they all took effect during 2026.
Espadon: significantly higher pass and subscription prices
At Espadon in Etterbeek, the prices currently published are also higher than the previous amounts in our comparison. For residents, the 20-entry adult pass increased from €50 to €60 (+20%), while the reduced-rate version rose from €40 to €50 (+25%). For non-residents, the 50-entry adult pass increased from €140 to €175 (+25%). Non-resident adult admission rose from €4.50 to €5 (+11.11%). However, the official Espadon page does not state an effective date. It would therefore be misleading to present these differences as increases that definitely took effect in 2026.
Calypso: increases that predate 2026
At Calypso 2000, the differences generally range from 4% to 14%. Local adult admission increased from €3.80 to €4, while non-resident adult admission rose from €5 to €5.30. However, the official Calypso price list is dated September 2025. These changes should therefore not be described as 2026 price increases: they are earlier prices that had not yet been reflected in our comparison.
Increases vary considerably by pool and pricing option
The comparison shows that there was no uniform increase across Brussels. Officially dated increases range from approximately 7% to 22% for the admission prices and passes concerned at Longchamp and the three City of Brussels swimming pools. The differences observed at Saint-Josse are much higher, but their effective date still needs to be confirmed.
Conversely, no significant increase was detected at several other swimming pools during this review. This does not necessarily mean that their prices have never changed; it simply means that no new, sufficiently documented increase could confidently be attributed to 2026.
